Due to many couples asking for a civil ceremony and our previous experiences of the restrictions this brings we have developed a new concept of ceremonies which joins a civil ceremony and a celebrational ceremony.
The ceremony will be started by a celebrant who is going to speak the welcoming words and give a brief introduction to the ceremony. After this the registrar will perform the civil wedding and the celebrant will act as an interpreter if necessary.
Once the civil wedding is completed the celebrant will continue with the celebrational ceremony and at this point guest readings may be introduced and the exchange of personal vows and the exchange of rings may take place.
You may also include songs or simply have music prior to the ceremony and for the entry of the congregation and than for the closing of the ceremony. For example for the signing of a certificate. GMIP supplies on request handwritten calligraphic wedding certificates for the celebrational part of the ceremony. The civil part does not require any signing of certificates.
